The #ATMC18 conference committee welcomes authors to submit their abstracts for display in the #ATMC18 knowledge board as posters.
Our conference will explore tactical medicine from three perspectives (military and deployed medicine, civilian tactical medicine & human performance), delegates will learn about the most up to date, best practice trends in the exciting niche of tactical and high threat medicine.

Who can submit an abstract?
Abstract submissions for ATMC18 and are open to all, including career staff, students, volunteers, researchers and academics, industry, community and all levels of government.
Submitted abstracts will be published in the Conference Program and will be available to all delegates. Edited versions may also be published online.
Abstracts will be evaluated by the Conference Organising Committee. Abstracts for posters will be reviewed against the following criteria:
Contributed abstracts will be evaluated based on technical merit and contribution to the 7 key themes above. Posters should present results from completed studies or completed phases of long-term projects. Work in progress will be considered however committee approval will be required.
Student Research-in-Progress abstracts will be evaluated based on technical merit and contribution to our 7 key themes. Work does not need to be completed to be submitted.
Proposals are to be submitted as a 250 word abstract with addition information on how the proposal fits the conference theme (an additional 50-100 words). Final poster presentations should be developed to an A0 size for presentation at the conference.

Notice of decision will be made on or about June 05, 2018, via email.
All presenters MUST register and pay the appropriate conference registration fee. Early Bird registration is strongly recommended. Tickets can be purchased here.

Terms and conditions
The people that are nominated as the authors of an abstract retain all propriety rights. The authors retain the right to use all or part of their abstracts in future works of their own. The presenting author is responsible for obtaining copyright clearance and authority for all material included in their presentation.
By submitting your abstract you agree that we can publish it in any of our productions and that your presentation can be recorded, distributed and made available online. If you need to adjust your abstract before publishing, or if you do not agree, please let us know.
If your abstract is successful, you must register for the conference by Wednesday 20 June 2018. If you have not registered by this date, your presentation may be removed from the program.
